Thanks for the support. Debating the project from FE to GE after talking with Jer. that car is nuts, simply put. i think he was claiming 500hp+ at one point, and i would probably believe it. thats far from daily driver range for a 2 liter FF car though. looks like he started with a st165 manifold and a ct26 and went from there. ive actually looked into turboing my celica and i think you could do it pretty reliably on stock internals if you had a 3sgte manifold / ct26 but kept it under 5-6 psi. the thing is, everyone witha turbo told me that you're gonna want to turn the boost up at one point so i put the celica on the backburner.

My understanding the MSD BTM will retard/adv automatically adjust to the dynamic boost for perfect detonation from 0* to 3* BTDC. Thanks for the info all. Cough *Jer* 0-3* is per PSI of boost found that out...and up to 15* total of retard

Yo - everyone .... Today, Im a proud owner of a 1st Generation 3SGE. Sorry pHill - going to overhaul this GE i got from Jeremy - its complete with everything. Jeremy is going to deliver the 3sge engine next week on his time off. My wife and I rode up with Jeremy to see the engine. Though he says, it has a rode knock.. I am confident we can rebuild her like the six million dollar man. I will be getting the engine stand next week for 49.99 at pep boys. So my project to turbo a 3sfe has been cancelled. I will be starting the 3sge project soon. PS. Jeremy is CRAZY he drove us with his 20valve around a merging corner bank at 100MPH. Me in the back seat was leaning into the corner apex hoping that the car wont flip over. Well, it held the corner bank with us 3 in the car. Im not afraid of speed but, its just that I didnt know how his current setup would handle. I do that with mine w/o any problems at 120MPH. eh, The wing helps. The 20valve is frekin fast. On the way back home - a evo wannabee (lancer) tried to pull away from jeremy's 20valve - his engine was struggling to get away and jer 20valve accelerated without any hesitation with us extra passengers. We laughed how hard his engine was struggling.

haha....no prob man...I think I'm gunna just go ahead and do a 3sgte swap instead anyway.
