I bought a set of the Eibach Pro Kit springs that are supposed to lower the car 1" to 1.5". I've had the springs on the car for about 1.5 months and the car just kept settling and today, the tranny pan is only 3" off the ground (yes I have an automatic until I swap it for the GTS 5-speed I have). So now the car is so low that when I hit a pot hole or an bump, the tranny pan slams on the ground. I had to swap the springs back to the stock springs. I race my car auto-cross and drive it to work and need to find a good stiff spring for the car. I'll sacrafise ride for handling. Anyone have any ideas of spring to serve my needs? I can get a stiff single rate spring I can cut to the height I need. I have now been thinking about "coil-overs", does anyone know how much this set-up would cost or where to get them?

I figured out why the tranny pan was so long to the ground. It turns out that the lower spring mount on the front drivers side struct was bent downward on the outboard side. I pulled the left front struct from my GTS parts car, stripped it and assembled it with the spring and shock. Tomarrow I'll see how level the car sits.

Hey Jim, let me know how it works out. I'm looking for spings as well, and I'm seriously considering the Eibach springs.
Thanks.

The car is back together and on the ground. It now looks like it is about 1.5" lower than stock. It does need to be aligned now as it was originally aligned with the messed up front struct. The ride is about the same as the stock springs though. I am considering going to the coil-overs as a winter project. I want the car alot stiffer.

DropZones Coilovers for 95 Celica or any other Aftermarket will do. I am using dropzones - very stiff ride like a roller coaster. I got mine from madracingconcepts.com/

Are you still using the stock struts? I have AGX's in the front and soon will in the back (hopefully tonight). I figured out the problem I was having but will someday upgrade to the coil-over style others use. I'll just need to figure a good spring weight to start with.
