Hi, I'm new to this forum~ anyways, i was browsing around the internet and found www.makemykit.com ...maybe some of you have already heard of it...but it seems that if enough people express interest in a particular body kit...costs would be kept down and the kit could be made... Currently they are working on an custom mr2 kit but also mentioned they may be able to adapt it to the 4th gen celica... above is a photoshop mock up of what it may look like (minus the sideskirts) How many people on this forum would express interest in this body kit?

Honestly.. I can go both ways....
1.. .RICE RICE RICE!!!! That chop looks like RICE GALORE!
2. With some proper molding, and paint, I would gladly take that for my car.

It's rice no matter what you do with it, except maybe burn it. The 4th gen. Celica has awsome lines that don't need to be messed with, IMO.

Its different if it was clean and on a fast celica it wouldnt be rice. To me rice is a shitty car with fake mods to make it LOOK fast. Now having a fast car with mods that dont do much well thats a different story. If you put a huge wing that looked good on a ferarri it would be ok but when you put huge wing on your 90 HP honda civic with NOS stickers thats just retarded. IMO. I like the kit i wou;d buy it if it was clean.

what about submitting the postert kit to them to see if they would be interested in making that one, after all its discontinued so it should be able to get the rights to it.

please tell me your not thinking of doing that to a celica... I was looking into options for this car, and i'm not totally into the original body style w/the exception of the all-trac...imo, the front bumper looks alright, because it would be suitable for a front mount IC. don't mind the side skirts..it was just a photoshopped portion of the front bumper...i have no idea what the side skirts or rear bumper would look like...but if any of the celica kits looked a bit more like 240/s13 kits...then i would be more interested in getting it...but at the moment...nothing is really appealling except for the kits we can't buy in North America and my photoshopping does not justify what the actual bumper would look like...this is strectched and destorted to fit onto the picture...didn't have much to work with... ultimately...i'm just looking for stuff to do with this car because its soo plain...i've seen a lot of rice around where i live ...but i guess this kit may border what some ppl would consider rice...and some may consider nice... would you consider a mugen wing on an integra rice? in the end, its just a matter of needs and preference the great things about forums is that people can express their opinions. gotta love the 1st eh? any idea as to how much this kit would cost? No idea what the actual cost of this kit would be...i believe production of a single kit would be starting at 1500...but goes down significantly for every one other kit produced the forum is down right now...but i believe he mentioned 7-8 kits would be around $700...you can check it later...i posted a message there inquiring about the price...

the kit could be nice but in that form it's definitely a bit ricey. and for the integra yes the wing is too much, same wing with less height and you might get me to say its not rice. but then the black hood bothers me my thinking is that if you paint a hood black to look CF that's super ghetto and if you leave a CF hood black so people know you have a CF hood then you are doing it for the wrong reasons and that makes it rice as well....
but that's just my opinion to each his own
btw the rims and ground effects on the integra look good
