Hello All, Some of you may know me (Alex, in the GT4 Gallery) from the AllTrac community, and some of you may not. I am just making this quick post here to let everyone know that I have started up a new website - The Pacific NorthWest Celica Club. www.nw-celica.com/The main intent of this site is to unite the NorthWest Celica owners and enthusiasts, and focus on regional things. The site is no where near done, but the forum is already usable, and anyone is welcome to join; regardless of where you live, or what car you drive. So lets all get joined up and get the ball rolling!! If you have any ideas on things that could improve the site, or things that you would like to see on the site, please feel free to email me, or post a message on the forum! Have fun, and spread the word! See you all there!

Dude.. I think you just need to sit down, have a beer, and chill out a bit! It's okay.. really.. it is. I'm sensing a bit of tenssion between u and me.. Maybe I rubbed u wrong, I dunno. I don't like to be on anyone's bad side, so I wish to call it a truce, if you're ok with that. I'm just another fellow 4th gen owner; not the big bad wolf. I have owned 3 celicas thus far.. 86 GT, 87 GT-S, and 88 AllTrac. Since I got the AllTrac (some 2 years ago), I have spent most of my time in the AllTrac/GT4 communities, which is why I haven't been on here until now. Although I haven't been a member of this board until recently, I have watched the board and website fequently, since back when it first started and was called 4gencelica.net. I am not trying to downplay this forum at all, if that's what you're thinking. I think this is a really cool forum dedicated to the underappreciated 4th gens like yours and mine, and that's totally respectable, and totally appreciated. Although anyone is welcome to join, the NW forum is for *ALL* celica owners and enthusiasts in the NW to talk about regional stuff and coordinate events. Not just 4th gen, and not nation wide, like this forum. Kudos go to Jeremy, Rye, and all the others that make this place possible. Good job, guys! Keep up the good work! ME

Nice.. That comment is especially impressive coming from a moderator. I'm done with this topic. Since you considder it spam, you may delete it if you wish. No offense, but I can honestly say that the maturity level of this board has some room for improvement.

I agree - it's SPAMMING. You know having a member profile allows you to be read. The purpose of any membership forum limits anonymous posting as well as spamming. Registering shows content to contribute amongst of 4g Celica owners and to be helped by peers. You know you’re not the only one here who has a website.
How we get along is up to you. Welcome to the board bro.

Alright, I'm going to move this to the North America regional forum. It's been posted in the wrong place here. As far as spamming, in this forum it could be seen as that. It belongs in regional. As far as members with websites, they can be freely displayed in your own personal signature as long as they are not offensive. Hopefully the community can continue to grow and prosper. With more sites, this will happen.

Ok, so I thought I was done, but this is simply irrisistable. I dunno what your definition of SPAM is, but if it is simply "usolicited advertisement," regardless of content, then you really gotta think about it next time you post a message pretaining to a new product or service on the market which could benefit the 4g community. To me, the purpose of a membership forum is not explicitly to limit postings, but to keep track of the members of the community. At least in this forum, you don't need a membership to read any of the content. Again, if you don't think that talking about a Regional CELICA Club/Forum in another CELICA forum, which has a different scope of operation, has anything to contribute to the 4g Celica community, then I don't know what does. You're right, I know I'm not the only one with a website, as I'm sure the operators of this forum know they're not the only one with a website either. That's one of the reasons we have a links section. FYI - Here's what Jeremy had to say in response to my posting about the NW Celica Club on the GT4 forum: "Sweet I am planning on moving back to Spokane,WA in april & would love to get in on some of these meets. I started a website for 4th gen celicas. 4gcelica.net, I think I will post a link to your site in the regional forums on my message board. I hope your site has as much success as mine. Been only 5 months & I have almost 200 members(183) SO goodluck & I am deffinately joining.
Jeremy 87 Celica GT w/ ST185 CS engine 85 corolla 5 door w/ 20 valve silvertop 4A-GTE 04 Matrix XR "
Maybe that's spam too? Ok.. Now I'm really done; unless someone posts something stupid again.

I don't know why you guys are being little bitches about his site. I think it's great, I am from the NW & I think it would be cool to have a site to check out for the local meets & shit. So how about you guys chillout I am not going to lose any traffic from it or nothing.
