1. WARM UP AND STOP ENGINE.
Allow the engine to warm up to normal operating temperature.
2. REMOVE IGNITION COIL
3. REMOVE SPARK PLUG
4. INSPECT CYLINDER COMPRESSION PRESSURE
4.. Insert a compression gauge into the spark plug hole.
4b. Fully open the throttle.
4c. While cranking the engine, measure the compression pressure. NOTE: Always use a fully charged battery to obtain engine speed of 250 rpm or more.
4d. Repeat steps a. through c. for each cylinder.
NOTE: This measurement must be done in as short a time as possible.

Instead of removing the ignition coil, just pull the EFI main fuse, and you're good to go. To open the throttle, just depress the gas pedal to the floor.
