alright I'll post some pics of the 87 and my 85 these are old pics(no mods or anything) I'll get some new ones 1987 gt-s 5spd hatch in light blue bone stock except for the system and a muffler and tip, and a 3" filter and afm adapter needs a few trim pieces and some dent repair but at least it doesnt need paint like my 85 and the 85 just for shits and giggles....this car hauls ass but is in the process of porting and polishing and boring the throttle body so it is out of commission

hahahah, don't worry man. Most people don't check member rides as much as the rest of the forum. I think the GT-S looks badass and in good condition. I'm not really into how a car looks on the outside though. I am always more curious to see the engine bay ;p

Looking good, man. I dig it. BTW.. instead of spending money on trim pieces.. why not just remove the rest of the trim and go for the clean look? I can tell you how to remove the residue if you decide to go that route. Imo, and most people's here, it looks MUCH better without trim.

Just look at racerb's pic.. he has no trim. Removing the trim in the front is a bit tricky since it sort of holds the side-marker in place, but the rest of it is hella easy.
Use a hair dryer to heat up the adhesive really good.. then use some waxed dental floss to sort of floss the trim piece off. To remove the residue, just use some Goo Gone, but be sure to clean it up really well afterwards. You might want to use some paint cleaner and some cleaner wax to help blend the paint once it's all off. Really simple stuff. Have fun.

I plan to remove the trim like on the 85....its shaved on the 85 because there were holes after taking it off..also I have a whole can of 3m adhesive remover that I can use. I am gonna do a lot of work to the car tomorrow and sunday for bodywork and plan to paint it 7th gen carbon blue with falken gunmetal 17's or scion tc 17's. I'll get some new pics of the car tomorrow since those pics are ancient
