You didn't race it with the top up, did you? Handling is MUCH improved with it down.

More weight in the back improves the overall balance. Corners at high speeds are MUCH easier to handle with the top down. Less weight above the ground, which means a "lower center of gravity", per se. If you've ever driven a 4th gen convertible, you'd know exactly what I'm talking aobut.

MIGHTY.snapandshare.com :oBlack your right i ran the first 4 laps with the top up and was runnig 33-34 which was early in the morning, then i ran with the top down and i ran a 32.2, with ill say way more traction goin in to the hairpin turn that one guy said was pushing around 2Gs of force!!?!!, i was real impressed with the way it handled, i was on the gas where alot of people where leting off!!, on the front stretch i was 3rd fastest by 1.5 seconds from 4th,man i wish my tires werent bald!!! lol

Ill say i was shocked , I personally thought i was going to be one of the slowest cars ,but i was mistaken with the driveability under harsh manuvering and accelerating!!!!
