Hey those are the American Racing AR-24 wheels I've been looking for, as they have been discontiued by American. As far as the color, it's a factory color called Wine, but the sun did make it look alittle different. racerb

did you pull off the molding, or did you but it that way?? If you pulled it off, did you run into any problems in the process?

that combination of color, lack of molding and rims is completely awesome
i havent seen those rims in forever, but i remember like ten years ago everyone and their mother had them around here

I bought the red car that way, but have removed it from my '86 as well, it almost fell off the doors, just left a little adhesive behind and that came off easy too. racerb

Looks pretty smooth without the body molding. Personally, I'll keep mine on - helps protect me against parking lot door dings.
