I have this spare 3SGE block I wanna bore 30 over and port and polish the head with a 3angle vavle job. As well as knige edge the crank. Can anyone tell me about a estimate on power and how much more I can possible rev to. Im doing this btw because my JDM engine finally died today. Its completely locked up .

High, and lots. Check the N/A forum on C.net dude. That might help you some more As far as reving the thing, from my understanding that's based on just how much stress the valve train and bearnings can take. As far as HP, I'll throw out the uneducated guess of 160-170.

I forgot to add. I will have 3SGTE Ferrea oversized vavles and dual vavle springs as well as aluminum retainters. Wouldnt this help me out alot up top? I think im gonna get stock spec pitons prolly but if I do 30 over how much will I actually see from that?

The springs and retainers will make it easier for you to rev higher, but I'm not sure how far you really want to go, considering that the peak power drops off at about 6K or less. -Jason

If I put a 5SFE crank and connecting rods in my car with 30 over pistons.. would that be all I needed to stroke it? Or am I missing something.
