Thanks Dan for handling that one for me, I've been so busy working on home repairs this weekend, I barely had time to check the site.

Hey I know it's a bitch to get to but removing your TVIS and cleaning it in the parts washer is the only real way to clean it properly. It's also a good time to check the vacuum actuator on the system, to make sure it's working ok, and has no leaking vacuum lines. Find yourself a factory manual (BGB) and get the specs for TVIS operation and good from there. racerb

Sea-foam is God's gift to quick fix needs. It should definitely help. Also, isn't the TVIS system vaccum controlled? doesn't this mean compression would have something to do with it?
