I am planning on building a super high compression non turbo motor, my platfom is a BEAMS 3S-GE /98+ in year. with the BEAMS ECU and harness So i figure im worken with about 200+HP approx. I am planning on pulling it apart and doing some head work, and a possible JUN stroker 2.2L kit if i can get one. Or at least get new forged pistons, new rods and crank to freshen it up for me. And allow me to rev the shit out of it. i know the obvouse mods already guys. so please just tell me what i can do to get higher hp out of a NA 4 cylinder motor. My goal is to scratch 300 hp. I have only built turbo motors and i am wondering if my goal is outragious or possible.....I am swaping this motor into a stripped 93GTS Celica. Please Help me with you suggestions. THIS is my other Celica Project, www.cardomain.com/id/fastassalltrac

Hey dude I've been building and racing NA engines for years, but mostly in pure stock series cars. The first thing we usually do, is overbore the engine to .040 over stock, then flow the head through port matching, and finally, either cut the head thickness or deck the block, whichever causes the least valve clearance issues. Due to the rules I've had to go by, the only stroker engine I've ever run, was an early 1200 cc Honda, that we stroked to 1300 and ran Goldwing motorcycle pistons in it. If you have no rules to keep you from doing whatever you like, then it's up to your imagination, and soarcing the parts that will make it work.
