Andy - Did have one. They dont have forums anymore, and after Jan. it's doubtful that the site will exist anymore.
As to the question, it will work, but it is a lot of work. You could spend just as much and get a 3S-GTE.

Hey the 5SFE is what they call a long stroke engine, it would give you a bit more torque on bottom end, but would suffer on top end and/or max speed. The 3SGE is what they call a square bore engine, with a perfect 86/86 bore and stroke, meaning a better performance engine. It will make power with minor improvements before the 5SFE would. racerb
