SCCA is an organization.. is there a specific event hosted by them that you're attempting to refer to?

Yeah I will probably run a few solo events with SCCA, NASA, and maybe even the local auto-x club, just to stay sharp while building my IT racer. racerb

IT is kinda like rush hour traffic for 30 minutes at speeds over 100 mph, it can sometimes get to be alittle bumping and gridding also, but not always. To me IT is one of the cheapest ways to go racing with SCCA, beyond Solo 2, however you can build an IT legal car for Solo 1, which is roadracing against the clock not other cars. Solo 1 is a great way to get on track and/or hill climbs and just run your car as fast as you can go. When I first started competing in sportscars, it was at first just Solo 2, then on to Solo 1, and finally in Roadracing, but Solo 1 is all the same thrills with out the danger of wheel to wheel racing.
