Hey Tom, ITA and I will be running at a minumum 93 octane and maybe higher fuel in our racecars, so I figure we'll see most of the power the JDM puts out. And since we're not hitting the streets, smog junk ain't a concern, we just gotta make sound limits.

Not to mention, the car should respond slightly better to mods with more aggressive fuel settings. I need to do what you guys are doing, but I'm too broke.

Bob I'm for the JDM ECU buy. If you can find a deal for two ECU just let me know.

I've been working on the wife's 300ZX, so have just barely touched the IT car lately. As soon as I get my work schedule back on track, I'll try to locate the ECUs.

ok. that first motor on page 1 is a 2nd gen 3sge look at the velve cover! the second gen has two plenlums but the same intake and exsust ports as a gen 1 a gen 3 has difrent ports. ... I have done bouth the 2nd and 3rd gen swaps in my 4th gen celica. the 2nd gen is the esiest. the bigest proplem is the fly wheel. becus of the difrent crank shafts. 3rd gens have a difrent oil pan and dirent water/oil pump.
