Has anyone ever done this? I might just replace mine with one from a junkyard if its too expensive to fix the dent.

I hope you have a sawzall. It's part of the Unibody. Thats what I figured, but I saw them for sale on one of the car parts websites, so I figured it was removable.

You might try removing the rear interior to expose the dent from the inside, then banging it back into place with a rubber mallet. Then you could use body filler to make it smooth again, and then take it somewhere to get it painted.

Hey a good body shop can replace that panel, but only if it's beyond repair. If you have a lot of rust around your wheel arches, then replacement is your only alternative, I've got to do the same to mine.

Yeah, a rear quarter panel is major surgery. A good bodyman should be able to fix you up

Should look good as new...if you're really really good with the mallet you won't even need filler...

Woulda done that already if it were that easy. Part of it (the worst part of the dent) is right next to the wheel well and bent the lip of the wheel well out quite a bit. I'll post pics soemtime soon.
