what do u prefer, performance or looks?
or like me, both?
just trying to get an idea since most magazines around these 2 coutnries wont profile a car unless they have the flash paintjob, mags etc etc etc, and dont really seem to care much whats been done performance wise...
like for example, a show on tv here in NZ, Import X, only seems to really care if the car looks the part... They had a look at my car and didnt seem interested in it, even though im unbeaten by any other celica in the city i live in, it has a rough exterior cause all my moneys going on performance at the moment...

well once you've got the titanium coated forged pistons that weigh 200grams each, and shot peened rods that are fucking strong then a lightweight crank and bigger valves and strengthened springs, and stage 9 cams so it idles at 5000 and revs to 13000, then a straight through 3 inch exhaust with no bends....THEN you can paint it ;D

Hrmm, this is ALWAYS going to be debatable, because it comes down to ppersonal preference. If I had a great looking car with mags and kitted I would HAVE to have some power to back it up. But on the other hand I dont mind the look of a sleeper, hehe. Looks are very important though, also its not always about kws... its how your can handles n stuff which some people forget.... My 2cents

hello all k im just gonna go out side now and take some pictures plz my cars real dirty right now just got bak from holiday in gisborne so there is a build up of flys on the front and the inside is full of shit lol but yea its raingin and i cant be fucked washing it right now so here are some pictures comeing soon....

oh yea that new bumper i got hasent been painted yet !! just turned out that the coulor the firberglass is is so close a macth to my car you can hardley tell the diffrents lol
typical wellington weather in the background too i rushed to take theses picture so i will take some moree another day

wow lolz its like the same as mine! So what front bumper is that? is it the aerotech one, kinda looks similar, i rekon some aerotech skirts or even GT4 skirts would complete the lines flowing along the car. Nice 182 wheels they look waaaaay better than the pre facelift 162s! The interior pics didnt work for me

yea thanks man ill try get some motor and interiaer pics up soon not that the engine is anything too flash lol. yea i pulled thoeses wheels of a wrecked 4gen at pick a part (musta been put on it from a 182) clened them up and put them on hey rember how i was talking about putting this 2nd gen 2sge head onto my 1st gen block well i really want to do it now and i have a mate that can doo all work to the engine like port pollish and valve grind etc ... bla bla bla but he only used to supra engines anyway he looked at the car and said it will bolt up but other people on this site are telling me i have to wire up an st182 ecu ? is that correct i thourght i could use mine and wat over parts would i need if thats the cause ? what you recon thanks man Aaron

sorry man dident read ur text probley lol yea its the aerotech onebit i dident pay the price they sell for it i got it secondhand from panal and paint someone odered it bak in 1999 and never came bak to pik it up so they were like scred with the bill anyway the sold it to me for $280 not bad really
its not painted at all lol the fiberglass just macthes soo well to the car coulor but lol
oh yea and like i said before about the 2nd gen head ive all ready pursihesed it too

well from what I can gather the air/fuel and bigger injectors will need an ST182 ECU, I dont THINK it should be to hard to wire up, but idealy you want to find an ST182 celica, with an engine, rip all the sensors off it, take the altenator and the fuse boxes plus the ECU and put that all in yours. I'll go look at mums corona today and compare the wiring harness to my celica coz shes got a 2nd gen 3SGE
