can i fit a different stock toyota spindle under the rear of my 87 gt ...like say something off a camary for a larger rear disk brake setup

Your best bet is the 4 wheel disc set up from the GTS model of your car, it will also give you a 5 lug bolt pattern. If you check with Tire Rack, they sell a big brake conversion for the front brakes, which has an adapter so you can use you factory calipers. They also sell performance drilled, slotted, and cryo treated rotors, for our cars, my favorite are ones by Brembo. If they can't help you, you might check with Stop-Tech, they should be able to lead you in the right direction. racerb

Actually, his best bet would be to find the rear brake setup from an FX16 gts Corolla. Its a 4 lug rear disk setup.
