Hey there everyone..... i have recently purchased some reverse glow gauges for my celica and i was wondering if anyone could help me with some installation instructions...please I thank those with any help.... - Curtis I have never done these. I have no idea what I'm talking about. With that said, I'm gonna walk you through getting them on as best as I can. 1. Remove speaker cover (left side) 2. Remove trim piece that's under the steering wheel. 3. Look for screws that seem to be holding the gauge cluster in. Remove all that you can see. 4. Keep trying to pry the gauge cluster out. If it sticks, look for the screws that you have missed. 5. Once the cluster is out, I dont know. All I can even begin to tell you is how to get the thing out, and it isn't an easy task. If you have more specific questions, I will try to help you as best as I can. I'm sure that some other members have done this modification and will be able to post more detailed instructions.

Yeah i can get all that off and everything but likd the tach and speedometer are hard to take off and there is no place for the wires to go......i was wondering if i could take the bulbs out and how hard it would be to get the needles off the tach and speed

get a plastic fork to take the needles off.. they slide off, yes.. but with a little coaxing. You don't want to break anything (hence the plastic fork.. it'll break first). Just slide the fork in behind the needle, and pull it off.. not easy, but that's how to do it. You may need to break off a prong or two off of that plastic fork for it to fit. -Jason

So removing the needles in a fourth generation Celica doesn't mess up the gauges? I know that in the sixth gens, if you pull off the needles, the gauges get messed up.
