Here's how to remove pinstripes from your car without leaving a glue residue behind. Link to the vid is here (13 megs) And it appears my dog got in the picture too What I am using is a razor blade and a professional heat gun, a blow dryer will work the same maybe even better. The trick is to not heat the stripe too much or it will snap/stretch then snap. Keep the gun 6-8 inches away and fan back and forth to pre-heat the stripe before you get to it, the razor is used just to lift the starting edge. BTW the last few inches you see was damage done from the last time someone tried to take the white pinstripe off. I just put a black one over top of it. The black stripe came off w/o any residue. Yeah, that's really all it takes when the pinstriping was aplied aftermarket.
With stock striping, there will be residue left.. no matter how well you do the filmed method. This is when you use goo-gone, a clay bar, and the like.

I haven't been able to find this goo gone stuff but I did find some stuff at home depot called super degooper. I tried it and it works excellent.
