The BGB has the wiring diagrams in detail. I just went through mine and I did not see the colors for each wire. As far as connecting them, just cut the wire and spice the new wire in, solder them back together and cover with electrical tape or heat shrink. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

where can if i find a BGB book? auto shop store? thanks. BGB stands for Big Green Book. It's the Toyota Factory manual for the specific model. Can only be found at Toyota and e-bay. Be prepared to spend a bit.

ok. i have 2 wires coming from the main unit and it should be connected to the Positive and Negative door switches, the way I understand it is I can use the wire that should be connected to the Positive door switch and tap it to the door switch since after opening the door the wire will have a 12Vdc. Please let me know if this the right wire. and I have 2 wires that comes out from the main unit with the same wire color 'white' and it shows that it should be connected to 'hazard lights (O/P+5A)', can i just join this 2 wire and tap it to one side of the switch of the hazard button switch - is this ok?
after getting the information about this i am ready to connect the alarm to my car. thanks a lot.

Our Celicas don't have positive-triggered doors. That positive door switch wire doesn't need to be hooked up.
What alarm are you installing? It seems odd that they'd have two of the same color wires for the light flash. Can you post up a wiring diagram for us to see?

here's the car alarm diagram. - the 2 white wires on the right side, as i understand it is, will be connected separately to each hazard lights (left and right), so i guess i can just connect them together and connect to a common point to my hazard button button. - on connecting the 'negative door switch" Green wire, to which side of the circuit should i connect it? batt side or ground side? thanks.
