heres something for yous to think about dunno if its been done but this is wat i did overcomes the heatsoak problem thats the gen 2 3sgte with a gen 1 3sge inlet manifold...

why would you use 1gen 3sge manafould dosent the 2nd gen 3sge or 3sgte have a better morte flowing manafouild anyway ??

The lack of bends in the intercooler piping would more than make up for the slight loss of flow in the manifold (if there is any).

no the gen 1 3sge manifold is a bigger plenum than the gen 2 3sgte and , and i dont get half as much heat soak from the intercooler pipes running over the engine it has more power than my m8s 3sgte's with the same mods so go figure...could be something different about mine but it adds up that less heat soak less bends bigger plenum
it would make sense that the 3sgte manifold flows beter i cant tell u if it does or doesnt but for the tiny bit of flow that i may lose i think i make up in heatsoak and lack of bends
