It does look good though. If I remember right, the car's might not be dropped in Europe and Japan, just America.

because we have so much money and clearly the auto industry is losing sight on how to get it. too many companies are making cars that have compromises like fwd and we don't want that. i bet the celica would sell a ton more here if it was the exact same package except rwd or awd. subaru has figured out how to do it cost effectively so when is everyone else going to follow suit? as for why they choose to compromise i have no idea

They are doing the same thing in the Canadian Market. Plus you can get it "personalized" just like thye Scion. My theory is they are trying to make sure that they run out of the 7 line because the only cool looking one I have ever seen was the one I just now saw. Some reason they could not make them that way in the first place? I think that the marketing dept. is pulling one here. Sell out--praise the huge demand do to the shortage, take what you are seeing in this pic, use the TC frame and motor add turbo, with the longer wheel base and the all new "lower" concept, it will handel better than any Celica yet, and everyone has been talking about them going away sparking a sudden mass interest. . .that is why they ran the 7's so long looking like something just was not right about the car. And finally they are making them look kick ass out of the showroom? You watch they will drop the price too. Scion is a front. Who is buying the "baby boot" with four wheels? No one. Moderate sales. Don't forget: NEW COKE!!!!

All that looks like is a new celica with trd ground effects minus the back bumper. if u look at new 05 celicas here in the states with the trd action package it looks just like that except it has a different back bumper as well that looks sweet. the new 05 only action package is much nicer looking than the previous one. such a shame it came out the last year. but that europe only celica doesn't look any different than anything we get in the states. we just don't get the same wheels.
