Ok guys my co worker is good friends with the owner of ARP, I been working with him this past 3 weeks to get a set of ARP wheel studs. Will guys it looks like they can custom make them. I'm going to talk with him today about the studs, and I'm going to try to get a price on them by the end of the week.

Hey that would be great, just make sure they make them long enough to be worth our while for the rear of the Celica. You know how narrow the track is back there, might need to be 1 1/2" longer on the rear, but most likely same as they make for the Hondas. Let me know if they can do it, I'd probably order 2 sets, one for each of my GTSs, cause I need them for auto-xing too.

They need a stock one for a Celica GTS to copy. Should I buy one from AutoZone or Pepboys or go to the dealer and pick one up. I know in other places they have after market stuff but at Toyota we can get the OEM one, is there any differnce that you guys know of.

Hey I can send you one standard and one slightly longer OEM stud, If you'd like. The ones from an Advance Auto and/or Auto-Zone are just the same as factory, just not as expensive. Let me know I'll ship one to you tomorrow, if need be. racerb

Ok guys I have some good news. ARP did make studs for 4g Celica. It was for a Rally team, they didnt give me any info on it. The reson why this is good news is because they still have some studs that the team did not get, and they still have the mold for the stud. That means they can make more for us at a cheaper coust. I will have a price for the studs somtime this week.

You can use spacers to fit bigger rims and tiers. Im going to use 12mm spacers to fit 15x7 rims. I'm going to run 225/50r15 tires on my race car.

Hey man, Ive not been able to get on the site for about a week now, something wrong with the server or something. Glad to hear you found a possible solution to our wheel stud problem, let me know how much for say 20-40 of them. I really need a set for both the Auto-x car and the IT machine, if I ever get the car to the shop for the rollcage, I'm moving kinda slow on it right now.

Thats great I'm just getting ready to start stripping useable parts off the '88 GTS, so it can provide the hubs and suspension pieces for the '86 IT car. racerb

The reason y'all couldn't get on was because the domain was getting registered. The direct link to the site is turbotrdcelica.proboards29.comand that will get you right to the forums.
