Look for an EGR system. The JSPEC models did not have one. I'm not sure on the other differences.

Hey Tom, which engine did you post, that doesn't look anything like my US market 3SGE, and there is definetly no EGR and it's header tube showing. If thats a JDM engine, then I'd really have to hide it from the tech inspectors at the racetrack, totally different valve covers and all. racerb

The dots dont do anything, it's a picture from a project that I started and haven't finished. Thinking about it, that's Dynamic Tuners engine, and it IS a JDM engine. I have a few of my USDM GE. I'll get them up and post them here in a few.

Hey ToyGTR did you swap valve covers or did your JDM engine come with the same covers as US. The reason I ask is Dynamic Tuners engine appears to have totally different valve covers, unless it's an optical illusion. It's freaking me out, so I've gotta know.

That makes more sence, with the rules I'm building this car to, I don't need some part sticking out like a sore thumb. It's going to be hairy enough keeping the one with the keen eyes away, and from protesting. racerb
