Hey Mighty just got a clearifiction on the rollcage rule for SCCA, it states that only cars produced with a convertible top as it's only configureation ie: MG/Triumph could run with open cockpit. Hate to say it, but a coupe or liftback are the only chassis you could run in IT. You might want to check with NASA and see what their rules say about conv. in the smallbore classes. And by the way, I'm having my rollcage installed by a professional, who builds racecars for a living. racerb

Does it come easily assembled like putting up a tent in your back yard? LOL... cant wait on the fender extendor -- thanks for the effort.

Hey Guys don't shoot me, things have been crazy round here lately, haven't got the prototype finished yet, but as soon as the IT car is outa the way, I'll be back on that project. Oh and by the way, the rollcages are built from scratch, so each piece is a custom fit, no pre-fab anything. racerb

heh.....sounds like fun. I am doing this with my 85gt but I'm doing it all myself with a bunch of sheet metal, welder, and bondo just so that watanabe rs8's will fit without smacking my fender wells mean, that will be nice with wats joel, arent you gonna have to mold your doors and sideskirts too?

Axis,
If you look down from the top of the 4th gen model. our bodies is preset to flare out. See the define lines of our fender?
I left a message with RacerB when the prototype is to be expected on his busy time. The doors will be fine - Its more like a Magnum PI Ferarri 308GTS setup with Bobs flare extendors. Im using the extendors to draw out HEADER air from the engine bay. Header, Turbo and S/C run the engine bay HOT.

I removed the WW image as I thought it wasn't appropriate for this thread.
