i'm guessing he ran traction bars and crap in the front with slicks for traction problems and for the fwd problem he probably either welded the differential or got an lsd or something and some beefier axles

yea the 20v corolla runs a 13.4 @105mph the old 88 ST ran a 10.02 @145mph the 87GT ran a 12.8@ 109 the 86 GTS before the turbo oil seal blew ran a 12.2 @ 120mph wow a 10 sec run is pretty damn impressive. what did you do to counter the fwd and traction issues? I do remember him saying that he had no traction in 5th gear at all. 565 HP and around 500 ft/lb torque, if I remember right. Hey Jeremy, post the dyno sheets you had of the thing.

I'm shooting for a low 13 all motor. Just trying to guage off you guys how reasonable that is. Reasonable? Depends on your mind set. Expensive? Yes. Consider this, most swaps (3S-GTE's) run low 14's. Seems like high times for 3sgte. Granted I haven't run my stock 3sge, but I would imagine a high 15 is about right for her. I figure shaving 2.5 seconds shouldn't be that outrageous. I guess we'll see.

Well I installed a KAAZ LSD, had chrome moly reinforced axles that were supposedly good for 800hp but I still snapped 3 sets good thing there was a lifetime warrantee on them. I had some 335/35/15's for the front & some 175/70/13's on the rear for raceday. Traction was a trick with that car I had a Camry S-54 which had the 3.74:1 ratio which helped a little but traction was more of a problem with actual driver response. I allready had the lower ratio, the LSD, big ass tires, it was all skill to keep that car on the road. In 5th gear with my regular 17" wheels & 205/40/YR17's I would floor it at 65 & break them loose by the time it spooled.

I know. Still going to run her on nitrous since 13s all motor is out. 13s are what I consider a DECENT street car.
