Non-Intercooled. I'm sure that thing runs nice and hot.

Yo! Thats a MSD BTM!!!
I see his BOV to the T/B. But where is the wastegate? Email him for more details. Though he has no intercooler....
At least it travels a short distance ~ where is his oil lines to turbo need to see that too.
Ask him if it is still running.... if it is... Someone from here will be sending him a check.....

Here is the email reply i got from the guy.
"Isn't it great that forum stuff is popping up on Google now? : )
I'm currently running an MR2 turbo manifold with a home-made adapter to a T3 turbo from a mid-eighties Saab. I have an external wastegate set to 5psi until I get an intercooler in there. For fuel, I'm using a rising rate FPR on top of the stock regulator and there is a Supra TT fuel pump in the tank to provide the pressure needed. I'm still using the stock timing control, set at the stock 10BTDC (as far as I know!). No knocking, perfect idle. Compression is still in the 180's across the cylinders after about 5000 miles.
The turbo was put on (very poorly!) before I bought the car. I have fixed the exhaust, boost control, gauges, and just about everything else on the car (suspension, interior... everything but the paint so far!). Also, the motor was recently rebuilt with new pistons, chromoly rings and a metal headgasket. The head has also been ported somewhat. Oh yeah, don't forget the 5-speed - very important! Most of the Camry guys are missing that piece of fun.
As for the TPS - I'm not sure what you mean. The Camry 3s-fe has a full 0-5V TPS sensor (though it also has idle and full throttle switches...), so I can't help you there.
I'm still debating what to do with the car in the end... just go 3s-gte or stay with the 3s-fe with aftermarket engine management and maybe some custom internals. I don't' want to spend too much money since I am trying to keep the car as reliable as possible so I can keep my WRX for the real fun.

prolly just enough power to keep with a 3sge, but still one of a kind

^^ill take the reliability of the 3sge instead

He posted in his forum that hes pushing 174 at the fly. Calculating a 20% loss in the tranny, hes pushing roughly 140 at the wheels. So...a 3SFE turbo would probably take a stock 3SGE with no issues.
Look, no one is saying that an FE turbo is the way to go or anything...just that it IS possible.

I don't know how long that motor will last unless he is not providing all the details... from the fuel management he is talking it doesn't sound like enough... a rising rate fpr on top of the stock tends to tell me it's only a 1:1 which is not sufficient enough... as opposed to an FMU such as a vortech which provides a different increments such as a 10:1 , 12:1, etc... more details on that would be helpful.... also what has been done for boost transition, i.e. map sensor ?? on the MR2 or Celica there is a map/boost pressure sensor.. what is he using to let the ECU know to read or not to read boost pressure... ??

I found this guy on a random toyo forum. I am going to contact him and check out the details. Zooming into the picture... He is feeding his online into the turbo from OIL Pressure gauge. 2" rubber tubing from HomeDepot.. Is that rubber supposed to melt? He says he increased the the FPR but did he increase the injectors? MSD BTM with EIS Adaptor something ` dont remember. Blue wire for boost guage off the intake manifold.. What is his PVC connecting too.. It looks like it goes into a T connector up to the T/B and down to something else? Goosh, Ne more pictures? Very creative.

That is a braided brake line coming off the T adapter that he has in the Oil Pressure Sending unit tab. Ill email the guy and ask if he has any other pictures that we could post. Thanks.
