BTW.. I thought of a better method of doing this while I was in the shower today.
Spray EVERYTHING flat black. cut into the "orange" plastic and leave al ittle bit behind to epoxy the clear panel to. This makes for more contact area for the epoxy, and imo, a more secure hold. Just another idea for you.

what if i told you i asked a friend in germany to look around for em? I like that idea, could an overseas dealer possibly get them? Perhaps a person on here could order them for us then ship them here. I'd be willing to pay!.

what about the weather stripping? i dont want it to look like crap. I'm not looking directly at one right now. My car is going to be sold soon, and it still needs to be towed back here from where the engine died. But.... you can remove it for now, and stick it back on later. If you do the template thing (my second idea) where you leave some of the stock lense as an adhesion surface for the new clear lense, you don't really have to worry about it. Just make sure you paint it black BEFORE cutting, or you might get black paint on the surface of the reflector. Which, btw, you'll want to paint silver, white, or chrome, or something. It occured to me that you may not have a perfectly flat surface to epoxy to if you just remove the entire orange lense. That's where my second idea came in.

what happened? y you sellig it??? My 3sfe is toast, and it's just not worth keeping the car. Sure, I could drop in a new engine, but then I'd still have all of the other problems to deal with. So.. if anybody wants to make me an offer, go for it. It doesn't drive, though, and I can't deliver it.
