there are lots of other temporary places to mount a camera depending on the type of shots you want. i'd get it for the stiffness not just a place to mount

I tell you what that would be a great product for my car , i have a convertable and when im doing 50 around a hairpin turn ,i can fell the weight of the convertable shift and throw the rear end out !!!!

Someone mentioned needing something like this if you take out your back seats? Is that just for the liftbacks, or coupes too? I'm going to be getting a GT-S coupe that has pretty torn up back seats, and I figured I'd just pull them out, as they're just extra weight anyway. Is that gonna hurt the body stiffness of the car?

Probably not. The seats are two piece units, and I don't think that the bracket for them is any kind of support unit.
